DYK In 1974, Dave Barrett’s NDP government introduced legislation establishing the first Monday in August a provincial statutory holiday? That legislation has brought us to this weekend, and now on Monday, all of British Columbia is celebrating BC Day!

I asked our local local leaders to join me in sending greetings to all of you on this BC Day weekend.
